The windows of this little cottage in the French village of Coligny are open to the sun.  They invite us to stay a little while,  enjoying the warm light, dappled shadows and brightly blooming flowers.
May your dreams take you to special places, to the windows of your opportunities – and may we all enjoy the flowers blooming outside our own windows today.

    I think of the blue of those shutters as "French blue," and there's no color on earth quite like it. You got it right, for my money! Beautiful painting; like a morning stroll in France.
